Healthy Steps (formerly known as Lebed Method) is a therapeutic exercise program for women who have had any kind of breast surgery, node dissection, radiation, chemotherapy, lymphedema, or who suffer with chronic fatigue. It can also be used for men and children with certain chronic disorders. The program helps women regain range of motion, increase flexibility in frozen shoulder, work with balance issues both physically and emotionally, reduce swelling from lymphedema and stabilize weight. It generally promotes a positive self image and a sense of balance and well-being.

This video or DVD includes three Kundalini Yoga Kriyas approximately 20 minutes each and a 25 minute series of rebounding exercises. Kundalini Yoga works to improve flexibility, balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system and improve the ability of the lymphatic system to cleanse the body. Rebounding involves jumping on a small trampoline. Exercises have been chosen for their ability to increase the oxygen supply to your cells and to cleanse the lymphatic system. When practised regularly, Kundalini Yoga and rebounding can help breast cancer recovery.

This 60-minute DVD demonstrates 2 gentle yoga programs suitable for people living with cancer. Jackie Savi-Cannon, a health and wellness professional, leads the yoga exercises. She made the DVD while undergoing radiation treatment after having had a lumpectomy and chemotherapy. Also included on the DVD are 2 meditations promoting relaxation techniques and a 12-minute documentary on dragon boat racing. Jackie Savi-Cannon is a professional motivational speaker in the corporate wellness sector. She is also a yoga exercise specialist and breast cancer survivor.
